What would the human driver do in this scenario? I don't really get this argument, since it's not like people tend to be calm under stressful situations. The machine does its best to minimize loss, meanwhile a human driver might panic and get everyone hurt/killed. It would be unfortunate if such an extraordinary circumstance caused you to lose your life, but it's not like a human in the same situation is guaranteed to fair better. --- ...
