Which is pretty much my point, the only thing that they can innovate with now, are features and gimmicks, specs aren't going to make that much of a difference. You can buy a good mid end phone for 500~ish dollars, and it'll be able to do anything high end models can do too (Apple isn't the only one guilty of way too high prices). Hell, cheaper phones also have fingerprint scanners and such.

It is of course, the way the market works, if people are willing to pay what Apple or Samsung ask, then they can ask what they want. But I can never justify buying a phone, that costs more than an average PC, that you will replace faster than people replace GPUs.
