Topic	Why are so many people dumping on the IPhone X?

I'll never even consider buying a phone that costs over 1k. But what does the iPhone do, for such a hefty amount that most mid to high end devices can't do? Sure it's going to be slightly faster (the screen isn't that good from what I've understood, it's less than half the brightness after calibrating compared to the Note 8). But devices that cost 400-500 dollars are pretty much good enough for everyone.
