This probably doesn't help, but the prices of mid-high range GPU's cost like 50% more than usual because of high demand caused by the cyptocurrency craze. The low of the midrange or the upper high end GPU's are unaffected and are their usual price points though.

Also, the price of ram have stagnated for years and then gone up because of smartphones eating at the market.

And also, Intel has been padding/fluffing their release cycles. In other words, a new CPU generation isn't leaps ahead of its previous generation. We're within the decade of being unable to manufacture circuits/transistors any smaller because quantum mechanics come into play, and electrons are able to bypass walls that are normally impassable by conventional physics.


As a PC gamer, Feelsbadman. But at least SSDs keep getting cheaper, which is nice.
