(if you don't have it 100% memorized) The 1/2 magic was in the absolute last chest I opened in the game (the one you hookshot yourself to in Ganon's tower after defeating Molderm) The game gives a rundown of what chests (in dungeons) you missed. I neglected to open 4 chests in Ganon's tower, and neglected one chest in Thieves' town apparently.
