Also, I can understand making a game easier being annoying, but if it still has a lot of great depth and isn't at the least brain dead it's no biggie. The main reason SS is seen as easier is because it offers a way to grind and level up outside of the main story, which most FE games don't do. It's optional though, and both routes of the story still have some pretty difficult moments if you don't overlevel yourself beforehand.
