Topic	6th grade student allegedly assaulted by teacher for not standing during pledge.

If my child refused to participate I would want the teacher to communicate this to me. Being engaged is kind of part of being a parent if you didn't know. The hell? Why the fuck would you give a shit whether your child says the pledge or not? Because I care about my child's thoughts and feelings and like to discuss them to help them rationalize and grow. It's called having a relationship and good parenting.
