LOL. Sitting during the pledge of allegiance is not something worth going through the trouble of contacting the parents. Like at all.

I'm not sure why ya'll think sitting for the pledge is something that a kid couldn't come to on his own. I saw it plenty when I was in middle/high school and even stopped saying the pledge myself. Literally never had a conversation about it or anything from my parents. I stopped because I didn't feel like it represented me.
