If you have 99% participation and 1 kid not it's usually a good idea to find out if the parent is aware of the situation. LOL. Sitting during the pledge of allegiance is not something worth going through the trouble of contacting the parents. Like at all. JcOpIVY86 posted... Yea this kid came up with this his own. I'm not sure why ya'll think sitting for the pledge is something that a kid couldn't come to on his own. I saw it plenty when I was in middle/high school and even stopped saying the pledge myself.
