Anyone confused or surprised that some black people are against having a statue honoring him.
That was more about the statue itself, though. I imagine there's plaques and whatnot talking about the things he did. If they don't talk about both the good and bad, that's wrong imo.
If we had the ridiculous standard that no one can have a statue if they ever did anything bad, there would be no statues.

I'm just not gonna sit here and act like black people are wrong for not wanting to blindly honor someone who thought of and treated their race as subhuman.
They don't have to do ****. They shouldn't be uncivil by destroying property and disturbing the statue for other people's enjoyment and reflection. ---
