Humikane, the original creator/artist of the Strike Witches series, uses that adorable little black silhouette in some official artworks to symbolize another character (usually the main character, Yoshika Miyafuji, although others have been used sometimes) trying to suppress their lesbian urges to ravage the girl being featured in the image. This version of Yoshika has been nicknamed "silhouette demon" and "yuri demon" by fans of the series.
