As well, working with youth like I do, I get to see a lot of happy smiling faces and Christmas cheer. It is strange to not have Lindsay with me for the holidays. I remember the first Christmas she shared with my family, we went for a walk in the late afternoon and she asked me point blank, "So, how much of that was an act?" cause we... genuinely like each other and just like to snack and play games and spend time together? I was REALLY confused by her question and I just told her that's how we are. She had a hard time believing that we are just kinda a 50's era family living in the 2010's (at that point).
