This seems like an incredibly lazy copout to justify posting horrid shit and support for a political party that runs on literally nothing besides culture war bullshit.

I spent a good deal of time in my early 20s working with people that had either been locked up or should be locked up for some heinous shit, along with a healthy mix of drug addicts/dealers and homeless people. I came out the other side with my empathy 100% intact. This garbage dollar store nihilism philosophy of "the real world will make you jaded" needs to fade into obscurity.
