Both can be true. Yes older games will play better on it but even the newest games youll still be able to play at 30fps for the most part. Chances are if youre buying a portable gaming system youre buying it for the portability, not because you want the most powerful thing out there. Eh that's mostly because most games are still crossgen. Starfield is a mess unless you're in an interior. Alan Wake 2 is about 20fps. Returnal runs like crap. This is going to get more common as time goes on. Do not buy a Steam Deck for new AAA games in 2023 unless it's a bonus thing and you already have a gaming PC or current gen console tbh Keep in mind there's still something like 4 years left of this generation at a minimum. --- A Fallen Mascot ...
