I guess part of the difference is I dont fight traffic. I really dont get upset if traffic is moving slow or I catch all the red lights. It is what it is and getting mad doesnt help anything.

I see other people swerving around and honking their horns like maniacs who look like their heads are about to explode. I dont understand this mindset either.

i dont know what changed after covid but the past year i could never just "chill" in traffic. im not an aggressive driver but everybody else. feels like rubberband ai or something in a n64 racing game. everybody constantly on my ass tailgaiting. people trying to swerve in and out and cut me off and pass me even if im going 20 over the speed limit ,there is literally no limit some of these drivers stop at, they treat some roads in my city like an autobahn, sometimes i get a little road ragey at how they drive and i just hit the gas and they STILL try to pass me while we are both going 90. it literally makes no sense.

it was exhausting being hyper vigilant on my drive to work just to not die
