Topic	Alabama prison allowed an inmate to be beaten and sexually assaulted for days.

There seems to be a different in reaction to a child molester or rapist getting beaten up or raped in jail. And that happening to someone that robbed a bank for example. I've seen some pretty awful things wished on people who committed non violent property crime. Nevertheless, (and it feels weird to have to say this) no one should be raped and beaten in prison. Advocating that would just be endorsing the violent sadism of the perpetrators.
