Im also going to throw this out there and see what happens.

While the term Lightsaber sounds a lot better than Lightrapier, sabers are technically curved blades, while lightsabers are straight, so could we argue that anyone who doesnt use a cross guard saber actually uses a Rapier in Star Wars? Lightsaber combat isnt exactly fencing, but Im just saying, lightsabers arent exactly sabers.
