The fact that the Senate Majority Leader can just NOT FUCKING BRING BILLS UP FOR A VOTE is such complete bullshit. It's being reported as a "single member" (Tuberville), but the Majority Leader needs 60 Senators to force a vote. What's really going on is that Tuberville has the support or indifference of at least 41 of the 49 Republicans in the Senate to keep his blockade on the vote. Tuberville's just the frontman, IMO. I doubt he's smart enough to have cooked this up himself, but that's another thread. He needs at least 41 of the Republican caucus behind him to do this.
