That's a civil war. It sucks, because as much as I don't think a civil war will help anything, like a normal person would, I still think the cold hard truth is that this country probably won't be able to heal without one.

The racism, hate, and violence today exists because the Confederacy was never fully destroyed, the Union took the remainders back (as us good guys have continued to do and not learn from 160 years later). They have held that anger since their loss for 160 years. Building it up over time, teaching it to their kids, preparing for the next one, seeking to settle the score once and for all. They aren't looking to take liberals/progressive back if they win a war. They'd kill us all or enslave us with no mercy.

I don't want another civil war to happen, but I believe it's destined to happen. It's only a matter of when. The first step is fracturing the military, national guard, and police where they inevitably split to take sides with what they believe in.
