Despite the name being the same the scans do appear to target different things - effectively the difference between a rolecop and a regular cop, which also both have 'cop' in the name. Do we know if Ben was in fact an even night scanner? I wasn't 100% sure if the flip was 'as he died' or 'as he started the game' tbh.
