Israel should recognize that Palestinians have a right to exist too. Absolutely. Im not some crazy religious zealot that is opposed to a two state solution where Palestinians cant have East Jerusalem as their capital. The region would be 1000x better off with two states working together in peace than it is now. The only problem I have with a cease fire is that it doesnt stop the killing of innocent civilians as long as Hamas is around. It just delays it. Weve got documented proof that they plan on doing it again and again until the end of time. Look, if this situation ends with the ICJ indicting the Israeli government on war crimes, I have no problem with it, as long as it ends with the leadership of Hamas arrested as criminals at the same time.
