Starks posted... It's weird seeing an OG game boy. I usually consider pokmon Gen 1 a pocket era game. Yes, day one Japanese buyers did get the OG experience but Americans by and large had pockets by that point. I actually played Pokemon on the OG Game Boy first, because that's what my older brother had before Pokemon even came out. We each got our own Pokemon games, but we had to share the GB for a couple of months. Later that year, we both got a GB Color for Christmas, so we skipped over the GB Pocket entirely, we didn't need to share systems anymore, and we could finally trade together. Starks posted...
