The peak of my physical fitness, I was running farther and faster than I ever had before and scored the highest I ever did on my PT test (too bad it was only a practice test). Was when I had my first girlfriend. Although she didn't want to officially be my girlfriend, didn't want to share or keep or show photographs of us together to anyone, and turned out she was actually dating a married guy who had kids. Graduated my school and went to my first duty station across the country, where it was muddy and cold and wet and I learned the harsh reality of life without a driver's license (worked fast to rectify that though). And completed additional training. Found my second girlfriend, but we didn't last long either. Also started smoking.
