I've also seen people say it's to try and rescue the hostages with some sort of super duper cool spec ops mission you seen in the movies, but that sounds incredibly implausible, unfortunately. creativeme posted... i thought isreal was in NATO but just looked at they're a "non-Nato ally." so how is that ranked higher than ukraine that's been in the process to join NATO?Israel has been a major US ally for over 70 years; Ukraine has been a US ally for like....a decade, maybe.
