Honestly this is a bad approach. You're better off sticking to one trustworthy blocker (ublock origin is currently probably the best one out there), instead of installing random less known crap. Otherwise you're going to end up with an extension that the developer sells it off to some unscrupulous individual that pushes an update that turns it into malware. This in particular is a common problem with Chrome. And highlights why the less is more mantra is important with browser extensions.

One trustworthy blocker still might not be enough to protect you from that (see: AdBlock Plus selling out and letting any advertiser who pays them through), but it does at least reduce the odds of such shenanigans and there'll be a more active community able to warn you and suggest alternatives if it does start happening.
