Topic	So whats stopping Squeenix from making Final Fantasy 6 Remake?

I don't see why one console would be justified and others wouldn't. Each console has its own style, and each style can be used to make cool art. Appreciation of the variety of interactive/artistic experiences available should be valued over trying to make everything into a narrower mold. The problem with remakes is exacerbated by the fact that it's typically a good game being remade. A game where audio, visual, and gameplay elements were thoughtfully designed to be cohesive and express a vision, a mood, an experience. Remakes lose that, and for nothing more than the idea that, what is current is superior, which is in terrible taste. It would be amazing if all N64/PS1/NES/Neo-Geo/etc games became readily available to purchase and play on modern hardware. It would be a tragedy if those games were remakes. SayHeyyShohei posted...
