682's entire shtick is adaptive defenses and ridiculous regeneration. Like it is kept submerged in acid because otherwise it regenerates its entire body in minutes. The defenses thing is like they tried to kill it with lasers and it grew mirrors across its entire body, they turned another SCP that starts snapping necks if nothing is looking at it loose on it and then cut the lights off causing 682 to grow extra thick neck plates and eventually become bioluminescent, etc

That said, we have seen it dead before at least once that I know of in a universe where something happened that killed everything in the universe by essentially switching off the life essence of all living things

That means that 682 could provide enough meat to feed the world!

Sure, it's reptile meat, but alligator tastes like chicken.

Think of how much better for the environment it'd be if we could get all the meat the world wants from a creature that doesn't need all the millions of acres of grass or silage as food!
