Vulnerable groups absolutely need a voice and consideration in society, and no amount of physical weakness should prevent you from representing or being represented. If there are mental issues that prevent a member of government from performing their duties, they should be observed regardless of age. I don't think you're being shitty or anything about this, by the way, I just see a lot of other people taking it way too far.
