This doesn't sound accurate.

  • WHO says that pigs, who are the most vulnerable to this disease, have an incubation period of 4-14 days.
  • I don't see anything about it being transmissible over breath the way COVID is. Seems like most human to human transmission is the result of patient to caretaker suggesting close proximity is necessary.
The virus seems to spread predominantly from animals or sources of food that may be contaminated.
