Yes, things are definitely way better here than many of these countries. This is not even my claim. It's what the Biden administration is saying and I'm sure they know better than some guy peddling conspiracies.
60-80% of asylum seekers are rejected because most of them are economic migrants that just want a better life. That's not eligible for asylum and just clogs it up for actual people seeking asylum. They will not be able to afford NYC whether they work legally or not. You need to make 40x rent to be able to rent in NYC. They will still be dependent on social services and just be poor like other people already living in poverty in NYC, now having to compete with them with jobs, housing and social services. --- "It lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge" ...
