The thing I find interesting is how the other Russian pilot berated him for being and idiot, because he "clearly" did not interpret that as orders to shoot it down. The order itself seems intentionally vague, so I don't have trouble seeing why some bloodthirsty ork would take any excuse they can to kill people. Also the little tidbit about how even after the 2nd pilot went all "wtf are you doing?!" on him, he fired a second missile.
