Even without Elon I could see Twitter being far less friendly to Scientists since 2020. And that Musk who maybe they thought would be on their side, just made things worse.

It is funny Elon was seen as a Futurist for a while. That is someone who looks at the future with an eye towards innovation and change. Someone like that shouldn't be hostile toward science and on the surface Elon seems like such a person. But it's an act.

Eh he might just repeat the talking points. Weve suggested before that many Republican talking heads know vaccines work, they know Trump lost the election, they know climate change is a threat. But they go against that knowledge because theyve got talking points to make and donors to appeal to.
