Yes, there are like five doubles battles in the game that you can't replay. Also there's a pair of new pokemon with a doubles gimmick who are paired together in the story, but not in any of the five doubles battles that would have showcased that gimmick. Maybe the dlc will offer more chances to use doubles tactics outside of multiplayer. I do like Ryme though.
