My wife used to work at the same place as me. She would get messages from dudes who know me and talk to me fairly regularly. Nobody I would call a friend, but people who I have talked to. They would say things like I don't care about who your husband is, or we don't have to tell him, or what he does know won't hurt him. My wife will show me every message, we never hide anything from each other. I cannot say anything to these people because of my position in the company.
