Please explain how this information from separate, but almost identical, universes can somehow 'bleed' into ours.

And how the most plausible explanation for false memory isn't, say, people getting confused (mistaking Mandela for Steve Biko), but some mysterious leak from otherwise inaccessible universes.

I'm not necessarily opposed to Many Worlds theories, but this isn't proof of their existence. It's an indication of how unreliable memory can be, and how easily false notions can spread to suggestible humans.
