I wonder why Marvel just can't seem to be consistent with these TV shows. They were very hit and miss with Netflix too.

It's a bit nuts to me that MCU doesn't have a Mandalorian equivalent? I think that show is overrated but at least it's meaty, regular and reliable.

It's like these shows are designed to be 4-6 hours of MCU content instead of a TV show that can stand on its own. Seriously considering the god damn Flash lasted a decade on a CW budget this shouldn't be that hard. I think they're oddly limited by their insistence on making these shows have the same CGI focus as the movies.

It's also weird there doesn't seem to be an animated series outside of What If?

Seriously I don't know why they're overthinking this so much. A superhero show should be simple. We grew up on Spider-Man, Batman and X-Men cartoons.

I can't believe that Echo is the next new TV show. I just don't get the logic.

In all honesty, that show will probably end up being Daredevil: Born Again. It's 18 episodes and it's split up into 2 or 3 different story arcs, so it'll actually feel like a proper show and not a 4-hour movie segmented into 6 episodes.

That's probably been the biggest issue with most of these shows. They don't really take advantage of the TV format to expand on their ideas and with every single one of these shows, the last two episodes always ends up feeling like a typical MCU 3rd act instead of the finale to a TV show.

I would say She-Hulk and WandaVision have felt like the only exceptions so far.
