Surely the kingdom in this game is supposed to be one of the more advanced? You play as the son of a notable noble who becomes a soldier for an empire. Not a poor refugee who previously had never left their village.

Even traditional fantasy may not have human diversity but they have stuff like dwarves and elves that show the clash of different cultures and beliefs.

I'll see how the full game handles it but tbh I found it a bit hard to figure out who was supposed to be who in the demo. If it's all white guys who have British accents doesn't that make it more difficult than it needs to be?
