I think the way this topic is worded is manipulative and promotes a narrative that benefits the very people who primarily create the problems he's speaking about. I agree with how he ACTUALLY worded it as "public shaming" and he said that innocent people are hurt by it every day.

I agree with that, especially as it pertains to marginalized communities, and a good example is the trans woman who had sooooo much venom and hate and violent threats sent her way because she did a little promo where she took a sip of beer.

But that's never what's being addressed when the words "cancel culture" are used... instead people will try to portray the people making violent threats as victims when they get fired or arrested or banned and people will say THAT is cancel culture, even though it's really just a bully and a terrible excuse for a human being getting what they deserve.

It is manipulative. Because a large chunk of these board is very charged far-left politics board refugees who will read the title, not watch the video, and assume that this is just another "moronic right-winger" crying about cancel culture.

Anybody who actually watches the video is going to understand that's not the case, and the title does not accurately describe this person's position.
