I'm not even sure if the game tech can handle that these days without loading issues. He's been given his own moveset now to make him more distinct nowadays, so it feels a lot less necessary now, but in MK11 he can turn into any of the Klassic ninjas to use one of their moves, which was pretty cool. --- I stream sometimes.
