Topic	Random question: on a Glock 17, if you're rubbing the top of the gun...

FYI, this just for an article I'm writing and I knew very little about guns before this... Also, if I was rubbing the whole front of the gun, the part after the trigger that elongates with the muzzle, is their a good word to describe that part of the gun? --- There is no good.
