He's not looking at it but you see something else a few seconds later further up the boat in the direction the object or wave was moving. It kind of whips around towards him but honestly looks like a wave to me. The still with the shark head is just his feet its a lot clearer in the video. Why he starts swimming away from the float and what exactly sucks him under thats anyones guess. Kind of seems like a shark but I watched it 100ish times and never clearly saw one.
