I don't doubt that it could be a shark but I also find it hard to believe that if this kid saw a shark he wouldn't vocalize it in some way instead of just calmly swimming in the opposite direction. Also, the still frames can be deceiving. Take for example the still where it looks like a sharks head is grabbing his leg- in the moving footage it looks to me like his foot came out of the water while kicking and made a splash thereby creating the illusion of a sharks head in the still frame. i think youre overestimating phone audio and its ability to pick up his sound over everything around the one filming.
