Topic	What if Disney World seceded from Florida and became its own country?
Crazyman93 05/21/23 2:15:13 AM #8:	In theory Disney could seceede from Florida but not all of the US, and there's something of a precedent for that in West Virginia. However, for a secession to happen during a period where the state being left is not considered to be in a state of active rebellion against the federal government, would most likely require the consent of not just the US Government and a delegation with all the needed paperwork to submit for statehood, but also Florida themselves.
