I usually keep my deep frier on standby for the kids, and I dropped some chicken nuggets for 5 minutes. I literally dumped them on a paper plate along with some older fries and a half ear of corn. I just told him to eat the other food while the nuggets cooled off. He's 6 years old and figured that out without even complaining.
