You guys should try going grocery shopping in Japan. People are so locked in their own heads. They will just walk into you. Or you walk towards them, you make eye contact, and they will not move an inch until the very last second, like they WANT to bump into you. Then line only moves in one direction at the meat section, yet there is no way to see where the line actually begins or ends. There is always a grandma buying a box of some mystery item that takes forever for the cashier to figure out how to let it out of the store. Old men take up the aisle. You want to go ahead. You say excuse me (in japanese of course), they wont move. Their wife will move, but they wont. Every. Single. Time. Ive actually asked about this, and was just told that old men here think they are kings and dont need to listen to anyone.

So instead of rude slobs like in the US, we have unaware robots who arent able to comprehend the life around them
