I don't support Trump anymore, either. One of the major turning points was Jan 6th, which was a violent riot that began as a protest. It was carried out by a bunch of people who thought their cause was worth getting violent over. They were wrong, and they all deserve to be punished for what they did in service of their "cause."

So there are valid reasons for putting limitations on what is and isn't allowed during protests.

No, I'm not saying that the people blocking traffic are as bad as Jan 6th. Jan 6th was on another level of bad.

But protesters shouldn't be allowed to do whatever they want to do just because they believe it's the only way to get what they want.
