I tried pointing this out in other places besides CE so people could debunk it on Christian terms but I was either ignored or people focused on the argument from a secular perspective, which isn't what I was looking for. It's kinda hard to debunk it "on Christian terms" because the history and tradition of the Christian church is overwhelmingly supportive of his thesis. The only way to "debunk it" is to appeal to the core of Christ's teachings of love, inclusiveness, and caring for people more than laws or money. But unfortunately these assholes are ahead of the curve there and their whole argument is "Jesus's teachings only count if you use them be to be a bigoted shitstain to minorities".
