I don't like it when I hear from every single intelligent person I meet on the internet saying that having kids is pointless, in the most well thought out and articulated way, lol.

dumb people pump them babies out because they literally cannot do basic math. "$8000 a kid born in the US? Only if I have $8000 to give them."

And then they wonder why the place is run by Televangelists.

I know what you mean, but there isn't really an ethical solution to this.

Intelligent people collectively aren't going to start having large families because it economically and socially goes against most of their own best interests. Individual intelligent couples having lots of kids to counter the surge in the number of stupid people having kids won't be enough to effectively counter it.

A better solution is to demand high quality and well funded public education. A child of a stupid person won't necessarily be stupid themselves.

Barring that, we're certainly going to see a massive decline in the quality and influence of western countries. That sounds like the future's problem, not mine.
