Like say a chud tells me that protecting the LGBT means god is going to strike down everyone and we're going to hell. I would be like "Let it happen then. If your definition of god is correct, let it happen and let us be the fools. Let your god absolve you from any blame and let us die and suffer in the fires you think will come for us. Let it fucking happen"
Knowing that God and Jesus are actually loving and do not hate anything but sin itself, like genuine sin, I can speak all the "blasphemy " I want and not have to worry about anything. I have a feeling I know who Jesus would support. I know what I have to answer to.
More people need to embrace the "Idgaf about your definition of god" philosophy and stop being afraid to speak out. Let the conservatives talk themselves into their own judgement.
The refusing to bring religion or spirituality into debates with conservatives doesn't work as well as people think it does. They only operate on the understanding that everybody but them are going to hell for not listening to them. You nip that out of the way, they have nothing else to fall back on. Show them right then and there that it is bullshit. Embrace the religion argument, not shy away from it.
Not everybody is religious bro. I'm not gonna get in a debate about religion when I don't know a damn thing about it, and also don't care.
