It's less pop off and more like, "ahhh, so that's the motivation behind that character." It won't ruin the experience for you, but some of the nuance will be missed. Alucard188 posted... I haven't played it yet either, though I want to. Many people say it's the best contemporary cRPG that's been released. I beat Divinity Original Sin last year, and I ended up getting bored with how each battle played out. I wasn't all that invested in the story either. I loved the fuck out of Baldur's Gate, though. The combat is much better. For one, high ground actually does something in this game. The AP system is reworked (you only get 6 per turn, but everything costs less), and your inventory is streamlined (like you can just dump everything you don't want into a "junk" folder/list/whatever it is, and sell it all with one click instead of doing it piece by piece). --- I wrote a horror novel, called "Spare Parts."
