Obviously I want the family to sue the hospital and the cops, I'm talking millions They'll sue, malpractice will offer to settle for what is a "reasonable amount" (which in this case will largely depend on the woman's age an quality of life, IE how long she had left to live and how much money she might earn in that time frame) and if the family doesn't take it they will get buried in lawyers. Even if they win it will take years and the end result probably won't be very high unless its in a state with uncapped punitive damages. Police will not be held liable here at all. As fucked up as it is, the hospital told them nothing was wrong with her and that they weren't treating her further. I sincerely hope none of them get a peaceful night's sleep again because her dying sounds haunt them but legally? Nothing will happen --- Call me Bolt ... Copied to Clipboard! |
